About Me:  I’m a second year student pursuing a diploma in Biotechnology. I spend practically the whole day at school so I tend to rant about it quite a bit :p  

According to the Meyers Briggs Type Indicator, I’m an INTP. I’d say it describes me pretty well ^^ (kudos to anyone who actually looked it up; the article’s super long XD). Generally, I’m quite reserved, but I’m veeeery chatty with family and close friends. I love cracking lame and corny jokes. I’m pretty random. And eccentric. XD I pride myself on my ability to see the funny side of things. I can be sarcastic at times, but it’s all in good fun. XD I’m able to see things from different perspectives so I’d say I’m open-minded. ^^/

Interests/Hobbies: I enjoy reading, writing, drawing, origami, arts and crafts (unfortunately, school eats up most of my time so…D:). I also looooove to travel. I love culture and languages. I’m starting to have an interest in photography as well. I go gaga over cute/unusual stuff. X3 I’m a huge fan girl and *ahem* I tend to have crushes on fictional characters. Xp

Music: Hmm. According to iTunes, my music consists of mostly rock. :p Besides that, I also listen to some Jpop, Jrock and recently, Korean songs (yup, it got me too XD). Some of my favourite bands are Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, UVERworld, Royal Pirates, Linkin Park, the GazettE, Mayday Parade and Yellowcard. Anyway, if you have any band/song you'd like to share, feel free~ I'm pretty sure I'll like it too X3

Movies: I…enjoy a rather weird mix of Pixar/Disney movies and…horror movies. Heh. I also like comedy and action. ;D Here are some of my fave movies: Meet the Robinsons, Toys Story, Nightmare before Christmas, Resident Evil, Horton Hears a Who, Transformers and recently, Coraline. I intend to watch Paranormal Activity as soon as I have some free time. C:

Books/Authors: Well, basically most of the stuff I read are fantasy/horror/adventure. Harry Potter is definitely on the top of my list of fave books. So are Vampire Academy, Mortal Instruments trilogy, Wicked Lovely, books by Darren Shan, Holly Black and Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. Oh, and Sarah Dessen writes awesome books as well. I also read children’s books, like the Children of the Red King series, the Septimus Heap series and the Casson family series. ^^

I also collect manga. :D Fullmetal Alchemist and Vampire Knight are ♥. So are Ouran, Yankee-kun to Megane-chan and Fruit Basket. I'd love it if you recommend me manga/books =D Oh, and National Geographic magazine. *nerd smile* XD

TV: Not much of a TV person. From what I did watch, I liked Chowder, Avatar: the Last Airbender, Ben 10, a bunch of anime from my secondary school days (Beyblade, Shaman King, D.N.Angel, One Piece, Samurai X etc) and some Japanese/Korean dramas (Hana Kimi, Hana Yori Dango, Bloody Monday, etc). ^^

How many penpals do you have? 6. I still haven't heard from some of them though and am in regular with only one. :)

Do you want snail mail pals? Well, not really. I don't like waiting, haha.
How long are your letters? It depends on the topic and the letter length. If you write me a long letter, I’ll reply with a long one.
Do you hand-write or type? Well, obviously I type for emails =p
How long does it take you to reply to a letter? Depends on how busy I am. It might take a few days to at least a week, I guess. I’ll give you a heads up if I’m really busy. ^^;;
What gender do you want them to be? Either is fine.
Where do you want them to be from? Outer space. It'd be great it they're from say, Europe or Northern/Southern Asia. But I'm not too fussed. C:
What are you looking for in a penpal? Someone with a sense of humour, open-minded and easygoing. A good friend. It’d be cool if they can speak German or Arabic. Desperately needs someone to practise with XDDDD But it’s not a must, really. As long as we have common interests, it’s fine. Oh, and someone who won’t stop writing back after a few letters.
What age do you want them to be? Umm…I’d say around 17-20, but again, I'm not too bothered about this. =D
